Broken beyond repair‽
One year after Joomla v4.0.0 might be an excellent time to write honest opinions about that release. Mainly on the bad things.

Hopefully Production can prioritise some of this & start moving towards this goal.. I think we all agree that this needs to be done .. but can it be prioritised ? I've been seeing Joomla's Market share stay stable for some time now.
Surely you would have to do that with an framework or even a custom solution?
Never said that, you voluntarily change my words. We mostly agree. Thanks for your post.
That tweet was poorly worded but happy that we mostly agree 😉
I don't say it s not important but not the main points I evaluate for my projects or choice of CMS.
You don't care for the continuity and maintainability of your creations? If with every major release your templates need a total rewrite (assuming they're BS based), then how's that ok? How's even remotely ok that a major version will invalidate every existing (bs) template?
You might form a different opinion when you start migrating and then maybe what you've mentioned as technical points will be your real struggles (I hope not, although highly unlikely)
We have done with and without to be honest. We have build something above the gantry thing : not our best move. We don't have done any migration till now 😁
If you create your own templates without BS you're kinda unaffected but the cms' breaks in this space (depends on what you're actually overriding). Most people tho use whatever BS the cms ships with and these people are tightly coupled to the constant breaks of BS.
I understand your valid concerns that I very agree with. But we (freelance/agencies) alrdy template and maintain without bs2 so where is the diff now ? I'm more interested about the content creation features, end users UX etc than a very technical point for a CMS.
